Muhamad Junisykha (born June 21,1988 in Jakarta), also known as Nizka, is a rapper of Jakarta hip hop scene and the champion of 2006’s West Java Rap Competition in Bandung.
Having been rap music enthusiast since high school, Nizka commenced his stage along the now famed rap group Condition Zero for a few years, before determined to go solo in late 2008. Aside to his solo career, Nizka joins Middle East with Bogor’s freestyle master, Vikry, introducing arabic music aransement with comic live acts.
Nizka presents local music industry a distinct hip hop music, syncretizing the soul of hip hop golden age with intended common themes for commercial market. His love of black music, citing Blues, Reggae, Soul, R&B and Hip Hop as preference, allows Nizka tracks to vary –thanks to the magical touches of Zero One’s Mo Charizma to produce them as well.
People should find unique rhyme delivery Nizka employs on his works. Such notable examples lie in his second single, “Close To Me”, and preceding duet track with talented singer, Sheila, “Sirna” (Fade Away). Both life-inspired story telling tracks antiquate the nowadays typical rap music with delicacy of honest, love-themed lyrics.
In October, 2009, Nizka released his Zero One-produced third single, entitled “Surgaku” (My Heaven). Again brought forth by Mo Charizma, Nizka intends the Reggae-influenced religious track to be a positive vibe to spread amoing fellow listeners and hip hop music enthusiast.
